I live in Luxembourg and would really like to know where I could find one of these Preben Dal lights. My preference is the Simfoni and if i have to drive to Denmark to get one that is absolutely no problem....

Where can I get a replacement socket for my vintage Klint lamps.... the plastic is aged cracked and the switch failed, the replacements at the local lamp store do not look like the originals..... have these parts been made as repos?.... is there a shop in Copenhagen that specializes in this sort of thing? I have about 4 lamps in need of parts. Thanks Bill

I saw these on an ebay auction page. Are they all from the Saturn series? Is there a website where all the models from this series are listed and pictured? I'd really enjoy seeing all the variations in this line.

Hi Adrienne. Yes, we wholeheartedly agree with what you say about the beauty and functionality of the Preben Dal lights. We find the Symfoni in particular is extremely effective at distributing the bulb's light whilst shielding direct bulb glare from every conceivable angle. Re your question about scarcity, the rectangular light we wrote about here is considerably less common than the diamond-shaped Symfoni, but both are fairly hard to come by - especially in good condition, as they tend to be very vulnerable to rust.

Hi. I'm so happy to have found this article. I bought one of each of these two Preben Dal lights from an antique store in Copenhagen about 8 years ago. The dealer couldn't tell me who the designer was. This information is most helpful. The design is beautiful and extremely functional. The original porcelain fittings are still intact. Are these lights very common on the market nowadays?
